Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio she dropped out of high school to move into Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. Even though she had financial difficulties and in the beginning, she made her acting debut in the role of Rachel's Room's main character. In 2002 she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murdered Martha Moxley. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost where she was the main character for the initial two seasons, and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace wanted to focus on film following her role as Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. In 2007, she appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills for Taken. She reprised this role in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day adaptation from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role as Shannon in two episodes of Lost including the series finale. She was in 2013 for Season 6 of Californication. She plays Faith who is both a star-gazer and groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family, and is the older cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager she appeared in small roles in the films of her father and co-starred with her older brother in Donnie Darko the famous cult film. She also appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The actress also starred in Mona Lisa Smile (2003). The leading roles of Gyllenhaal in Secretary, a romantic comedy-drama erotico, as well as Sherrybaby (a dramatic) received her nominations for Golden Globe Award. The Dark Knight, which came out in 2008 following many highly successful movies, such as World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. In 2009, she was nominated for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal of a single mom as she appeared in Crazy Heart. The following years she was a part of comedies and dramatic films: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012. She also played the role of a Secret Service Agent in White House Down which was an action thriller that was released in 2013. She also played a musician on the set of Frank (2014) as well as the lead role in The Kindergarten Teacher, a film that debuted in the year the year 2018. Gyllenhaal composed and directed her debut film The Lost Daughter in 2021. The psychological drama won Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The film was also nominated for be awarded the Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
